Fifth Blog Post
Hi, blog. I am exhausted. Thrilled to have work to do, but exhausted!
UPDATES.
We are about to open Read My Lips! It’s the 45-minute lesbian psycho-thriller play that my friend Ana, and her friend, Grace, wrote, which I wrote about in my last blog post. We’re performing in a studio in the Paulson Center, since we are being produced by the NYU Meisner Studio’s 2025 Summer Incubator.
Reach out to me (or get your free tickets here) if you’d like to catch one of our performances. Our shows are June 20th at 7:30pm, June 21st at 2pm and 7:30pm, and June 22nd at 2pm. Again, the incubator performances are for feedback, so we will be working with limited tech elements.
I’m also performing at Dyke Theater Company’s “First Timer’s Club” on June 25th. In five short minutes, I’m making my case for why I should be cast as the next Seymour in the Off-Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors. Tickets are available here.
NEW LONG-TERM PROJECT IN THE WORKS.
I’m writing a one-person show. I am the producer, playwright, and performer. And it’s a piece of documentary theater. The first week on the project has shaken out to be quite eventful. I am writing contracts, creating timelines, budgets, and to-do lists, and even scheduling some interviews. More information is coming. Tune in here regularly to keep up!
Happy Pride, divas! Stay safe out there.
