Last Blog Post of 2025

Hi, blog. It’s December! I hope everyone is staying warm. I am writing from an EPA at Playwrights Horizons; fingers crossed that I get seen today!

UPDATES.

I’m now active on TikTok! A very accomplished, very well respected arts-industry professional advised me to start creating content on the app, and I realized that when the industry changes, you must change with it. Check out @eronon.

Earlier this month, I acted in a Columbia University Directing MFA student’s semester final for Anne Bogart’s class! It was so crazy to be in the same room as a legend like Anne; I look up to her so much, and she is absolutely brilliant. I’ve worked with this student director before, and I hope that I get to again; he is so smart, careful, and precise.

This past weekend, I sang in another new musical workshop! I love working with material at this stage. It’s also great practice learning several songs quickly and well; it reminds me of my collegiate a cappella days.

Otherwise, I’m doing the audition thing: submitting to casting calls online, attending EPAs, and checking my emails a lot.

A MOVIE REC.

Go see Hamnet. Just go.

END OF YEAR GRATITUDE.

This will probably be the last blog post I write this year. At this time, I’d like to name a few things that I’m grateful for:

  • My friends and family, my hot girlfriend, my neighbors, the families I babysit for, my therapist, the casting directors who’ve given me opportunities to share my work, the actors I’ve met in waiting rooms, doctors and dentists, playwrights, student directors, the people in my TikTok comment section, EPA monitors, environmentalists, vegans, activists, Mitski, the people who’ve given me and my kids their seat on the subway, teachers, educators, coaches, Anne Bogart, and my cute little dog.

  • New York City, Bryn Mawr, Amtrak, Tompkins Square Park, Brooklyn Public Libraries, Costco, Peridance, the East Village, Moma PS1, the roof over my head, and AMC Kips Bay.

  • Cookies from Pasta Louise in Park Slope, my massage gun, good music, good food, coffee, clean public bathrooms, emails from Actors Access, and comfortable seating.

  • Hope, kindness, patience, rest, words of affirmation, hugs, kisses, time well spent, feeling full, feeling energized, feeling sad, feeling humble, feeling brave, feeling mad, nuance, sleep, and mountains to climb.

Thank you for joining me on this journey, blog. Happy holidays to you and yours, and I’ll see you in 2026!
